Linda, I see you. I read your posts. Maybe it's time to let that scream out?

I had an 8:00 am appointment with doc. Came home and spent 3 hours working on selecting plants for saturday’s Market. THEN, because my car was already hooked up to my trailer so I could not use it, I drove my Toyota Tundra to the next town and went to see a movie! I had not driven my truck that far since I got it. Yea! I saw Book Club and laughed a lot. I know it was silly fairy tale movie but...it was fun. Two good experiences today and a lot of physical work. Will sleep well tonight.

Well, Ann that was remarkable! You are really doing great. I think we are going to be hearing really good things from you. Maybe all that stair climbing you do at home helps.

Peg, you are also doing really good. To have a broken wrist and still keep on doing what exercise you can is wonderful.

Linda, I am glad you are feeling better after going to the movie. That movie is on at a theatre close to my house and there are no steps in it. I was thinking of going to see it. The trailer looks like it would be funny.

As usual I have just been working in the house. Yesterday I started on my housecleaning chores and today I finished by vacuuming the carpets and mopping the tile floors. Of course I cooked. Now I have to go to work on myself and do a pedicure and a few other things tonight. Hoping to get out for errands tomorrow, but will have to wait and see.

I have gotten so slow that it is hard for me to do what I do and then try to exercise on top of that. Yesterday instead of just dusting the furniture I polished it and I got one room done and thought why did I do this today, but I kept on (having to sit occasionally) until I finished it.

Housework IS exercise, totally counts as exercise.

Today I said Phuket and decided to swim more. So, I swam 18 minutes.640 Yards. It’s a little over 1/3 mile.. Some mild muscle stiffening , but no spasms yet.

Wow Sunshine, so great for you!

Today I am suffering the effects of overworking in the house for the past two days and Tuesday I had gone out for over half the day. So, I was unable to go out today and get my errands done. I will try to do some reading and not do much else.

    So unfair Virginia!
Reading is a good way to rest. Hoping you awaken tomorrow better than today.

Having to juggle and rearrange the jobs so I can do them without getting too tired is always a problem.

Yesterday I mopped only the bathroom floor without doing the kitchen floor. Usually I do them both at the same time but decided that I'd treat myself this time. I might or might not do the vacuuming today. It depends on how tired I am after doing the laundry. I probably should vacuum today because tomorrow I'm cleaning the bathroom.

Unless I decide to put that off till the next day. This is the way my life goes. One thing about being in charge of so much of your own time is that you can get away with this kind of thing--changing your plans constantly.

Agate, you are so right about rearranging your own time when you are alone. Monday I went upstairs and dusted, then cleaned two glass tables down stairs, then cleaned my bathroom, except for the floor. Tuesday I was out going to FedEx and UPS and stopping briefly by grocery store and getting hair cut and colored. Wednesday I did laundry and polished all the furniture downstairs. Thursday I mopped the kitchen and my bathroom and vacuumed all over downstairs. Today I have been too dead to even go to the store.

Everything I did in the house, I use to could have done on a Saturday morning and then gone shopping in the afternoon and out to dinner that evening.

Polishing furniture is harder than dusting and takes much more time for me. Dusting, I just use a Swiffer and can reach with it. Polishing, I use my hands and the polish with a cloth and I have to constantly get down and up to get the legs and lower parts or bend over when I can. When I get down on the floor I have to have something hard close by to push up by with my arms because I cannot get up by just standing up anymore.

Keep surfing Sunshine and maybe you will not get like this, or at least for a long time I hope.

Linda, Joan, Virginia and Sunshine - chocolate all around!

Today I walked just over 3 blocks to get my hair done. Then took the nearby bus to the neighborhood center and walked 2 blocks to my doctor's office for lab work.

Then to a local favorite pizza joint for a slice and some cool water. It was in the 80's today but not humid. Then walked back the two blocks to CVS for alcohol wipes to use w injections.

I checked my bus app and a bus would take 11 minutes to come. Standing uses a lot of energy so I walked all the way home. I'm tuckered out tonight and fell asleep for an hour after getting home.
