Oh, I'm sorry to see this! It was not long ago that she posted here. Her voice will be surely missed. My condolences to you, Len, and to all who knew and loved her.

Howie, you will really miss her. She liked to tease you.

Vicky was the BEST teaser to Howie!

Always worthy of a few good laughs to watch their funny banter!

Wasn't she on this board as isele too at one time, long ago? She had to register under a different user name when there was a BrainTalk downtime if I recall right.

As I have gone about doing a few errands today I have had Vicky on my mind. I know we were all sad (especially Ann who still grieves) when we found out about JTwin, but thanks to Ann we at least knew why. Somehow this just doesn't seem right to me, that we know nothing about how and why she passed away.

Oh, this is very sad news. I am from Massachusetts too and often thought of meeting one day. It is so special to have friends here on Braintalk and they are very real friendships.

I "knew" her elsewhere though only in cyberspace. In December she mentioned breast cancer, and the prognosis was grim. She didn't say much about it though, and as time went on anything she said sounded as if the radiation was doing its work. She either didn't know the whole story or was sparing people the news--or maybe she died from some other cause, totally unrelated to the cancer.

A while back we were discussing here how we can't ever know what a person who posts is putting up with in real life. We may think we know "everything" about someone just from the words we see on the screen but that person might be fighting all kinds of battles without telling us. Vicky seems to have been like that.

I've been watching the on-line obituaries using her hometown, birthday she used on BT and death day from Lenny. I haven't found any matches.
