I got this idea off of MSWorld.org

Yesterday, I was lying on my back on top of a big flexible heated gel like pad to relax tight lower back muscles from either a new back problem or SPS.

At the time, I was struggling for an hour with increased stiffening in my shin muscles. So I wrapped the pack around the shins and it helped! Placebo? Dunno but will do it again if tone increases like that.
