Swam 16 minutes, 1/4 mile plus 70 Yards again, yay!

I call DH at work to say when go in pool. I call when out of pool. If he doesn’t get my call, he sends in the Calvary.

I swam 587 Yards today, which is 1/4 mile plus 137 Yards. Just shy of 1/3 mile . It’s almost 6 football fields. 17.5 minutes. Cleaned up and drove to the library. WALKED from car to the stacks, about 100 steps each way, stood at the circulation desk for about 30” and back to car. Drove home 10 minutes, climbed two flights of stairs.

Now I will settle the legs down for an hour or two.

I couldn’t have done this six weeks ago. Not at all.

I surfed today with the help of my buddies, and a wheelchair

The rest of day will be lying down to settle down the spasticity....but it was worth it!

Each surf morning I wake up dreading it. I feel so awful , all the time, that it’s a Herculean task to want to leave the comfort of home. But I always have fun, and so I just coach myself to go knowing that.

I swam 19 minutes, 613 Yards. Got out as soon as the muscles started to “stretch” on their own. Rested.

Quick 1/4 mile swim under supervision of DH. Had to ditch it early somas to be able to drive to an appointment. SPS causes such planning....

Today I swam just under 15 minutes. A 1/4 mile plus 66 Yards. Would’ve gone a few more minutes, but had to save some legs to drive to store.
