I continue to swim 1/2 mile every day around 25 minutes since my last post.

I had a spasm in my left ankle at 3:30 am today,... then, This morning at 6:10 am I swam 1/2 mile plus 50 extra yards in 26 minutes in the rain. It’s still warm out in FLorida as TS Nestor’s outerbands comes ashore all day.

Yesterday, My surf buddy came to say hi and bring me my Surf Board, the beloved one, which was being repaired after my very last sesh in August.

THe PT was aghast that I was thinking about going back in, wha with the need to pop up quickly. sweet of him to convey concern.
Am gearing up mentally to return to surfing.

Am not ready to hang up the boards permanently...When I do, I will find a spot in the house to hang it on the wall... too many memories attached to my board.

I continue to do better on taking ativan twice a day in terms of spasticity. Thus, I am able to swim more, walk more, cook more easily and enjoy company more since the pain from spasticity is greatly reduced.

I can even tolerate noise, music and good TV more.

    Grateful am I.

Have been swimming daily over 1/2 mile up to 28 minutes and doing PT exercises. Walking 2í45Ē is my latest assignment 3x daily.

I wonder if its just BOTS that read this board, or are there real viewers who come here when they get an alert that something new is posted.

Still swimming daily unless doc appt interferes here and there. Walking more with rollator, less use of w/chair.
Think IVIG and PT are helping this...

Swam 1/2 mile, plus 50 yards, 27 minute workout including covering the pool.
The biggest challenge is the side effect of the Lactulose which treats the Baclofen side effect and causes the abdomen to swell painfully with gas.
