Default Stiff Person Syndrome and the Spoon Theory

This completely describes me, and likely most of what people with Stiff Person Syndrome experience of daily life with Stiff Person Syndrome.

So many chronic illnesses are like this, not just as the writer’s experience with Lupus.

I ran out of spoons today. I had the nerve to meet a friend for a quick lunch after having a 15 minute grocery run.
Then came home and started a hot and sour soup from scratch.

Currently dealing with excess stiffening and hoping not a spasm is lying in wait.

    I ran out of spoons.
