Roofers were here at 7:30 this morning, scraped and blew the snow off the garage roof and were done and cleaned up by Noon. That huge construction dumpster is full. To be picked up in the morning. Friday a friend who is a handi-man will be here to start on our ceilings where there has been water damage or the plaster is loosening. Living room, hallway, downstairs bedroom and bath and the largest of the upstairs bedrooms all have cracks and water stains. We are off to NH Friday morning for a week of skiing and hanging out with family (I don't ski) and he will try to have it all done when we get back. NICE!!!

I don't ski either, Cherie. Never learned.

So, I'm back from the dentist...."Look, Ma, I have a cavity! And a loose tooth!...". My fault...I have postponed going for over a year, not out of any fear of the dentist, but rather knowing it would be extremely difficult for me to transfer into the dental chair, and not knowing if they could deal with me in my wheelchair. I learned they do have a room with space for the wheelchair, and -- with a pull and tug by TC -- I was able to get into the dental chair. So got a good cleaning (and now have sore gums...that'll clear up in a day or so, I'm sure)..and the aforementioned cavity and loose tooth. So I have to go back, and go through the transfer thing all over again. Ugh. But now I have shiny clean teeth! :)

    Cool

Cat, I can take care of that loose tooth, and you won't even have to transfer, just open wide. SAM, get my pliers!!!

Glad that got taken care of Cat. I generally find that after a particularly rough cleaning I don't feel as well for the next week or two. Hydrate and rest if needed. Glad the tooth is getting needed attention.

Yes, some dental hygienists are much rougher than others. It's no fun having a sore mouth for days. But at least that's one preventative measure taken care of for a while.

It's not every MS board that has its own dentist standing by. We're just so very lucky.

Howie, you are standing by, aren't you?
