Well, I woke up with a terrific leg spasm around 2 o’clock this morning. Got out of there quickly to try to stretch it out. Unfortunately, I fell over and hit my face on the edge of a table. My poor husband heard the commotion which got him out of a dead sleep. He had to drag me into bed. He is my hero. I now have a nice bruise on my cheek.

As luck would have it, tomorrow I am being evaluated for a wheelchair. They will ask me if I fall, or if I am a fall risk. I guess there will not be any question about it when they see my face.

I know that the spasm was due to the surfing , Although I admit that I have been doing a fair amount of twitching the past few days. It was a probably a combination of both of them. It was worth it. Surfing is my whole life, so it was definitely worth it.

Ouch! Falls in the middle of the night are awful, Bbs. Sorry about that and spasms and twitches. You earned the twitches and spasms. ;-)

Doing good, Bbs! Plus the getting there, getting in, getting into dry things and getting home and upstairs. That's quite a lot!

October pedometer readings averaged 1183 steps/day, based on 30 days. Not great but at least it's still in the 4 digits.

Thanks for putting a positive spin on it. I hadn't thought of it like that. I'd thought of it as the minimum of 3,000 steps that it wasn't!
