There is also something that happens in the car. I "feel" like we are going way to fast. Scary. I say, "Hon, I know this is probably wrong but I feel like we are really going too fast."

He says he will try and tells me our exact mph. It doesn't help.

It's a once in a while thing. Anybody else have it?

Yes! And I always think we are too close to the car in front of us. It is so frightening to ride with my husband driving even though I know it is perception. My neurologist told me I had a faulty depth perception and I am sure the speed sensation is a similar MS related problem.

My husband keeps telling me that I am wrong, that we are not close to the car in front. But that does not help me and I am still scared to death. Same thing with speed. It is an unkindness to simply tell someone their perceptions are incorrect. I still have the panic. It is a problem that needs accommodation.

Oops. Another nerve touched by this thread!

No, ANN, you just think that "stillstANNding" person who comments is really quite clever and knows what she's talking about!

I thought of this thread this morning while laying in bed unable to sleep. The bottom of my feet were burning so bad, I just kept turning over and over thinking maybe I could get more comfortable, but was unable to. I have had the creepy/crawly stuff for years and years, but the bad burning has started lately and I can't get away from it. I don't know anyway to get it to stop.
Medical marijuana. Also, try wearing snug but not tight sox, the sensation of snugness outcompetes the faulty signal of burning through the pain gateway

Have tried the sox BBS, but thanks for suggesting them again. The medical marijuana - I can't get.

I've heard that some OTC remedies like Tylenol can relieve burning feet for some people. I'm guessing you tried those and they didn't work. You're not diabetic?

Not diabetic Agate. This is strictly MS symptoms. Tylenol I have tried to no avail. I have also rubbed some cream on my feet that was supposed to help, but did not. Sometime it is worse with the weather - I have always felt like maybe the weather pressure going up and down, but then I really don't know.
