    Cool

Somehow I didn't start graying early. But my mom said she started in her late teens. And my dad had his hair all his life. So you can count on me having this long, flowing hair, from now on.
    Roswell was a gift.

I did the shopping marathon w MIL today: her house, CVS, restaurant, bank, Job Lots, $store, huge thrift store. Then home for me.

I spent $1 on a small notebook to record my daily meds.

They brought me home. Now they have the grocery stores (3)!

I walked about 5 minutes this morning. It was too much on my legs, created neuropathy rest of day, so I used the chair to go out for dinner.

Hurricane has set me back. The only exercise I can tolerate is lifting light weights and brief swimming. The latter isn't available here. Hoping my pool is operationsl upon return.

That's probably Howie's story too--prematurely gray hair. It happens to a lot of us. My hair is going prematurely gray too in places.
My dad's mom went gray prematurely, too, but not me. Sure, I have some gray hairs, I have 3 sons!

Ann, you did real good with MIL. Glad you didn't try on top of it to do the three grocery stores. She must be something else.

Of course your Mom could probably keep up with her.

BBS, I think just to try and get out and go for a 5 min walk was pretty good considering the strain of what you are going through. Even though IRMA looks as though she might spare you some of the heartache you thought you were going to have, you really can't tell until you get back. Also, I assume it is still going to go to Georgia.

Jendie, just thinking about having 3 sons is giving me gray hair!

I think, at this age, having 3 sons would be very helpful!

I stopped being a big shot. I now only allow self to walk about 15 yards at a time, and use wheelchair, and this seems to alleviate the awful muscle tension and neuropathy from walking. Still in Atlanta.

Maybe you'll need to cut yourself some slack for a while, BBS. Having to relocate on account of Irma has to have been stressful and physically demanding.
