As for exercises in the morning, well, um, most of them are done really late in the day. My mobility is at its worst in the morning but there are a few exercises I do while I have to wait a minute for eye drops to settle in. I do the exercises during that minute, with my eyes shut. It's a way to pass the time.

Suze-Q, I think our only real couch potato might be Howie. However, he might not be either - just look at him go on Payday!

Yup, that couch potato turns into a hot potato on payday.

Back when I went to stores with a helper, we tried to avoid going to stores on the 1st and 3rd of the month because the crowds were so bad--everyone eager to spend their checks.

    Cool

I always hit the store on the third, or whenever payday comes, at 7am, as soon as the doors open. Few customers are there, and the produce is really fresh, and just been put out. This grocery store has to be very aware that the first, and third of the month crowds are coming.

And at some time when I can afford to buy what my digital camera needs, I will post my picture, and can see my hair is indeed very long, and so blond, it looks white.

Howie, does it just LOOK white or IS it white?

If you go to the stores at seven in the morning, there is not many people there because workers have to go to work and most retired people have enough sense not to get up at seven o'clock in the morning. By the way, what does 7A.M. look like?

Please don't let BBS read this, she gets up at sunrise.

Could it be said that you're a platinum blond then?

Virginia, I usually get up at 7 every day, 7:30 at the very latest. It's a habit I never got out of since childhood.

Yesterday I slept till 9 AM--really almost never happens. It was the stress of the power outage catching up with me.

My Tom had mostly white hair due to premature graying, that started when he was 14. He went to a military high school and took advantage of it by going to the bar in uniform. The bar tenders didn't take notice of the insignia on his uniform that said NJROTC.

That's probably Howie's story too--prematurely gray hair. It happens to a lot of us. My hair is going prematurely gray too in places.
