Will Howie ever look like anything but a blank space again? Inquiring minds want to know!

Howie, there's a demand for an avatar for you. Others here have no avatars and get away with it but you evidently are not one of them.

As for your plan about putting the least disabled on the upper floors, that's a great idea, and in general they try to get those who can't do stairs on the first floor. But then there are those who've lived for years on the 3rd or 4th floor and over the years have become more disabled than they were.

Sometimes they want to move to the first floor but often they don't. It's noisy and busy down here, and they want to stay put. Also, there are hardly ever any apartments vacant here.

    Howie, looks just like you.

Agate, you have a patio on 1st floor. I assume those above cannot have one.

Ann, the book "The Last Book Club of Your Life", turned out to be good in the last 1/3 of the book. I did cry and it was not funny to me. I still would not recommend to our book club (had I been doing it). We had a young lady, I guess the youngest person in our club to loose her Father to cancer recently and I wondered if it was something she would want to read at this time. You never know what a person is going through in a group like that.

Well, Grayson kind of lost it today. He was doing so well, but today was the last day of the tournament and he went from 3rd or 4th place yesterday down to 25th today. But that's alright. It is just taking him a little longer since he suffers from the "social anxiety" when he is out there. He had one of the last tee times and I was sorry to see that. Maybe (I hope) with time it will get better for him. He still made some money and if he wishes he can go on to the next tournament which I think is 3 weeks away in Chicago. It is my understanding that he will be coming home for two weeks until time to go there.

    ((((((Virginia)))))) ~

I'm so sorry for Grayson. He was on the leaderboard for at least 2 days, and to drop that far down must have been awful for him. Was it the pressure of being on the leaderboard and trying to maintain his lead that caused him problems? I'm sure that waiting for his tee time was anxiety-producing. Aww ... He should be proud of his hole in one and focus on that. I hope rest at home will help him.

Virginia, they make meds for social anxiety. He should talk to his doctor. He's too good to let something like that stand in the way of being a winner.

You're right, Virginia. We on the 1st floor are the only people lucky enough to have patios. And all kinds of things turn up on those patios--snake, raccoons, and the other day a bouncy squirrel was poking around among my plants out there.

Howie, is your avatar by any chance a cover for an album called Unbroken?

If it isn't, it should be. I see things all the time, and in 2 seconds, it's in my pictures folder. The bad thing is later, I have no idea where I found it.
