WONDERFUL! How much do you think I need per day? I have been eating one to two squares per day after having my plain yogurt for lunch. Should I up it? Please say yes!

    Bring it on!

I have to take 2 Viactiv calcium chews each day. I try to make sure I get the chocolate-flavored ones. I'll make a real point of getting the chocolate ones now that I know this great new fact.

It could be one of those alternative facts but I'm not fussy about my facts when chocolate is involved.

Chocolate is ALWAYS good..regardless of whatever science says. Some things you just gotta accept on faith, and faith alone... :)

We've got some smart people on here and now we know why!! I think I must need more, it doesn't seem to be working for me in that department.

Agate, do you get the Viactiv Calcium chews in the grocery store? I have not been able to take calcium in several years because I am unable to swallow it anymore. If this is something you just buy over the counter I could start taking these as a way of getting some calcium.

Well speaking of chocolate - I usually eat my yogurt lunch about 2P.M. and it is 1:50 now so I am really craving chocolate today after all this talk.

Virginia, for years I bought them in the supermarket, in the vitamin section. You can still get them there though I've been ordering them from Walgreen's when I order other OTC medical items.

They come in several flavors, including strawberry, caramel and milk chocolate. You can chew but not swallow? If you can chew OK, these just might work for you.

My doctor recommended these for me some years ago. I was having problems swallowing the calcium caplet or capsule--I forget what it was but it was difficult.
