I have been on Lipoic acid for about six months per neuros recommendation.

It hasn't been big news cuz it's cheap. The pharmas maybe push only expensive meds in the news?

    What dose do you take?

600 mg twice a day. Got it online at Amazon, made by Superior Labs 100% pure

Agate, xoxo did also take CoQ-10. I also tried that based on his advice, but I didn't stay with any of the alternative things other than the Omega 3s and the Vitamin D-3. I have continued on those throughout all the years. I should have stayed on all of it I guess, but I didn't work up to the dosages that he was recommending and so I felt that it probably was not going to help me.

For ME, taking Valtrex for almost 2 years is what I attribute to stopping any progression of my MS. It was during my second exacerbation the damage I carry today occurred, and after studying about MS, and talking to pharmacists, and my doctor, I started Valtrex.

I started Valtrex during that second exacerbation, and never had another. That was 17 years ago. I was disabled with that attack, but have not progressed past where I was at that point.

Thanks Suze! Aha, it was Lipoic, not Biotin , that outperformed Ocrevus.
