    Cool

Educate this city boy. I thought cucumbers grew on a vine along the ground. So talking about "tying them", I assume you will tie them to stakes to hold them off the ground? I think my dad grew them, but I don't remember how it was.

I kinda suspect that you'd want to keep your prize cukes up off the ground because they'd rot more easily if they're in contact with the wet ground--? It might be too much for the poor things. You'd want nice specimens to eat and give to your friends and maybe even sell.

What am I saying? There are people here who know what they're talking about on this issue, and I'm not one of them.

Well today - I took a shower, washed and fixed my hair and got dressed.

I went across town to the fabric store. I think it was about 100 degrees. I believe the hottest day we've had. I chose material to cover couch, wing back chair and ottoman, and six dinning room chairs. I had already gone out last week and chosen the material for the couch. It was so hot I left everything there until someone can help me pick it up. The material for couch was going to be what got me, it was 25 yards. So I left it all for the time being. I've already had upholsterer come out and measure everything.

I left there and went to Lowe's Foods Grocery. I got all the groceries that I needed, but they don't carry my yogurt. So I hope to get back out Sunday to stock up on that. I have enough for about 3 more days.

Then I went to Whole Foods. I went there to get Alpha Lipoic Acid, which I did and put in the cart, however I forgot to get it out by the time I picked up a few more things. I guess it got hidden. So now I have to wait to take it until I can go back and get some. After that I came home.

I took two bags of trash out.

Make sure I get lots of credits. I haven't even had any dark chocolate today. I guess it's too late now. I am staying home tomorrow. Got to go back out Sunday.

Has Howie posted his physical activity for any day recently?

I don't know if Howie's really entitled to chocolate but then I'm not the one dispensing it.

Oh wait. He's in 100-degree heat. And he's serving as a cheerleader for others. I take back my heartless remark.

Virginia, you get so many credits that your credits have credits.

Plants: I tie them up because they're in containers. They'd end up being in a hit metal external spiral staircase otherwise. Comments LAZ?

Today I cut back to swimming to 320 yards , 12 minutes. -- because I forgot to bring cell to pool and DH was away. At 320 yards I felt my hip muscles tighten. Didn't want to risk spasms and hence inability to get back into house, call friend or call 911. So, I got out earlier.

Lesson: always locate phone before leaving the house to swim or drive

BBS, so true. You did really well to get out just slightly early. You still did a lot.

I am wiped out this morning from all the heat yesterday, also the brain activity of having to choose upholstery material. So afraid of making a mistake. While furniture is gone I plan to try and get a handyman in to do some other things and then have carpets cleaned before furniture is returned to me. Does lots of heavy thinking bother anyone else? I slept very little last night, so I will spend most of the day in my recliner I am sure.

Yes. I have two important tasks that require much thought to finish closing my business. I keep putting it off.

And the MMJ hoops are very taxing.
