I think it is more like what happened on the 13th! Today, by my calendar is the 13th, and she already has over 2,000 steps racked up.

    Cool

You've got to keep moving Virginia, keep moving. We can't let Agate win. If she does, she will get a big head, and think she's Wonder Woman or something!!!

I took a bath and washed my hair today. And, I did a load of laundry and some hand washing/drip dry.

Then I made supper. First I prepared and cooked red lentils; then I sauteed a large onion and some garlic and added 2 cans of diced tomatoes. I added the cooked lentils to that and a bunch of spices and lemon.

I then cleaned my steamer (the lentils make a mess) and set it up to make brown rice.

In order to cook, I put an upbeat radio station on. No dancing.

ANN, that much cooking is impressive and mind-boggling!

My cooking yesterday was laughable by comparison. I prepared and steamed a pan of broccoli and warmed up some red beans and rice I'd "made" (from a package) the day before, and poured myself a small can of V8 juice. All of this added up to dinner, and it seemed like a lot of effort because I had more dishes to wash than if I'd just heated up a frozen meal. Two pans to scour out--that starts to look like work. You stand at the sink with hot water involved and you scour away with your scouring tools. Elbow grease has to go into it sometimes. Do I get points or credit for days when I have more dishes to wash than usual?

Howie, you weren't supposed to notice that day when my steps added up to a puny 965. There were lots of other days with more steps......

    You def get credit Agate!

I swam 1/4 mile again today, 15 minutes. So far so good, and tied up two cuke plants in the heat, no less and swept the dirt off the porch. And did a 20 minute grocery run.

It will be rest, rest and rest the rest of the day...DH is going to take me surfing Sunday morning :) he is a wonderful man to do that. Then, rest up Monday morning because the brain MRI is Tuesday and I don't want to miss that from overdoing.

Ann, you get lots of chocolate for all your cooking, washing, etc.

Agate, you get lots of credits for your washing up the kitchen pots and pans.

BBS, you get kudos for your swimming. Nice going!

    Cool

    Howie gets tired?

About all I've done is drink coffee. I'm working on my 3rd mug right now. But that has motivated me to do dishes and put them away.

I drank my last beer last night. Not because I'm quitting, but I can't afford it every evening. I now have that online banking, and if there's money later in the month, I'll get beer then.

And I'm STILL eating my pasta I made. It's lasting really well, and will be a way to save money on food. And eating once a day, I'm hungry enough to not mind eating the same food for days, until it's gone.

I'm in the 90 degree days now, but next Friday, they say 98 degrees. If they are predicting that hot, I'm sure it will hit 100. I haven't seen a 100 degree day in a VERY long time. But regardless, I'll be here, sitting in front of the AC.

    Take care busy bees!

    SAM, more coffee!
