A friend of Mom's took his sister on a cruise. On the 3rd day out he asked her why she wasn't taking her insulin! She forgot
    to pack it!

Twelve days of insulin cost $400 on the ship!

I've known other people who forget to pack their meds! Meds and other related supplies are the first items on my list! I can do without a change of clothes,or extra shoes, but not the meds!

I am like Cat on this one. Meds were the first thing I think about when I was traveling.

And I always bring water in case in a traffic jam and need to take Tizanidine. That happened once and it was a bad feeling knowing I had no liquid to take the Baclofen. It was a rookie mistake.

I totally understand the water. We keep a bottle in the car, too.

I get my Tegretol in increments of 100mg because the generic chewable from Teva is soft enough that I don't need water.

I bring a small bottle of water with me or sometimes a small can of V8 juice. Both chilled of course.
