A call to your doctor might be all you need since you're replacing an existing Hoveround, and your doctor probably knows you.

Eligibility requirements for scooters like the Hoveround may have been relaxed somewhat lately. I've noticed quite a few scooters blossoming forth in this building lately.

A new toaster oven sounds exciting! I got one a while back though I thought I didn't need one any more, what with the microwave. I use it almost every day, mainly to toast a muffin.

    Cool

Bread is the main thing I use it for. Everything else goes in the microwave. Well, except my coleslaw.

I was trying to take a nap with Sam under the covers with me. It was a nice down time even though I didn't fall asleep like Sam did. I wish I could fall asleep like dogs and cats can. Darn big brain!

You probably like coleslaw so much because the cats won't eat it!

Good luck with the meeting, Peg! It sounds like this is a meeting but not the actual infusion--maybe you'll find out what to expect.

The reports about this drug have been so good that they may be on the right track this time. Hope so!

It's the only drug I've ever been tempted to try. Good luck Peg!

Peg, good luck and we will all be waiting anxiously to hear what they have to say. Listen closely or take some notes.

Howie and Agate, I haven't owned a toaster over in years, but when I did I used the one I had to even cook steaks. Maybe it was a different kind, I don't know, but I learned just where to turn it and when to turn the steak and they were really good. It had a grill in it and I just put the steak on the grill. It was small and did not take up too much space. Maybe I should look at another one. As I recall it was easy to clean and that has been so long ago that I am sure they make much better ones now.

    Cool

My old one still worked, but was a mess from toasting bread with butter on it. The new one I used today, but didn't butter it until after I removed it from the oven.

I got spoiled by my dad who always cooked steak on an outdoor grill. SO good. But in a toaster oven, steak would make a terrible mess. It's going to make a mess that would become a fire hazard.

I don't even eat red meat these days, but would if cooked on an outdoor grill!

Years ago I lived for a year in an apartment where the stove wasn't working, and I cooked everything in a toaster oven. Back then I was still eating meat. I did chops, roasts, hamburgers, and casseroles. The toaster oven was more cleanable than a regular oven would have been because it was so much smaller and at a convenient height on a countertop. I didn't mind cleaning it.

I shouldn't have said that. People will send me their toaster ovens to clean.

Let's say I minded cleaning it but I minded that less than I'd have minded cleaning an oven.
