    Youse guys are funny.

There are ALWAYS sharks there. Always. But its very uncommon that they would happen to leap up right by a surfer and knock them over. And that he got it on his lunch hour is crazy. He went beck to the office with the video to watch it. He and his office were stunned to see what showed up. So he put it on line. It went viral right away. GMA called....

Totally worth sinking a couple of minutes into watching it.

That shark means business, I'd say.

Tom was a surfer before we met and he told me stories about surfing hurricane waves with a buddy of his. One time this shark came up and took a bite out of his buddy's board. The board had a perfect bite out of it, along with a couple teeth that he kept as souvenirs.

Tom's surfing abilities were never witnessed by me, but I listened to his stories of surfing the storm surges. I'm just so sad he wasn't able to visit New Jersey again before he died. I'm planning on going there this summer and allow his best friend since high school to show me New Jersey and its "suburb" New York City. His joke, not mine. lol

Might his friends be able to do a paddle out ceremony for him in NJ, and spread his ashes there?

Today I was assigned the task to do a little weeding around some bushes. The weeeds were choking out the bushes around the pool.

So, I laid a plastic tarp on the ground, then lay down flat propped up on my side, and used the free arm to pull out weeds. This worked out well, not having to stand or squat.I was able to do about 5' in about 30 minutes. Cut down 10 palmetto fronds and threw them i the woods, then put the weeds on s compost pile. I did it early before the wall of heat started....Feeling some leg feedback from it, so took a Marinol which takes about an hour to kick in.

That will do for moving today, other than an hour driving. It's not as much as our Laz can do, but still was satisfying to do it.

Funny how each step is like climbing a mountain.
