    Cool

It's been totally quiet here today, not one mouse, but it is early, and both the cats and the mice are night creatures. Cat, I'm happy mine don't seem to even draw blood. I think the mice just go into shock, and before they even have a chance to recover, ol' Howie has them traveling down the sewer pipes.

I spent at least 5 hours today in transit and waiting around, all in connection with a hearing aid appointment that took all of 15 minutes. while riding around we crossed a bridge--and I noticed a striking sign that hits you just as you leave the bridge:

    I love the photo, Agate.

It's 20 degrees, Virginia. That's our high. The low is 7!

Great Ann! I bet your humidity is practically zero too. It is only in the 40s here right now, but will be in the 50s tomorrow and will climb once again throughout the week.

Agate, since I have become a piddler, could I also be a dabbler? You took a good picture. Long trip for a 15 minute appointment. I hope you had something to occupy your time. Well, you did have the scenery.

Howie, are the girls working today? How many have they caught? Do you have any food that might be attracting them - such as birdseed and that kind of thing?

As I have mentioned, I am slowly phasing out work. I have a few days of no work this week. By mid month, almost no work, a smattering of office closing work in early April and then done. So strange. And sad to leave work due to MS rather than a joyful anticipation leaving.

But, such is life. New things await with my new found time,

BTW agate that's a great sign! I wonder what it's back Story is?

I didn't take the photo. I looked for the sign on the Internet after I'd seen it.

I don't know who should get the credit for the photo--or whether the sign is part of advertising for a company? I'm going to do some more investigating. I'd like to know who went to the trouble of putting it there.

BBS, maybe leaving your work is a happy time. MS has made it possible to take early retirement. Not everybody is so "lucky."

Well, it's one way of looking at a glass that seems half empty most of the time....

Virginia, I had my iPad with me, and I took naps too. Not a good idea to nap while sitting but I try to be careful. I was getting very very tired.

The iPad didn't work so well without WiFi but there are some games I can still play on it while I'm in transit or waiting around in a place that lacks WiFi.

Found it! Here is the sign from another angle.

    Cool

Do I fit into one of those categories?

I'm just sitting down with my first mug of coffee. I felt like sleeping longer, but it became time for my pain meds. I'm beginning to think the idea of "golden years" is just like the Easter bunny stories, just made up.

Who would make up such stories, and for what reason? I'm going to tell Santa Clause on them!

The sign looks very cool from that angle Vicky.

Howie, I am glad the Lyrica has been working out for you. Does it contribute to drowsiness?
