Where I grew up we called them submarine sandwiches!

    Cool

I had a SUBWAY just down the street from where I lived then. That was a treat for me every payday, back in another life. A sub, some chips, and a glass of milk. No beer.

I didn't become a beer drinker until a few years ago. Before MS, I drank maybe once a year on New Years, but not always. Back then, I didn't care for beer, and now, I can pass the blindfold test about what brand it is. Just kidding.

But I do have favorites. HURRY UP PAYDAY!!!

Yum, I love sandwiches like the one pictured, it's been too long. Think I'll have to pick one up soon!

Howie, you missed out your daily vodka in your reminiscing of past patterns, you used to regale us regularly that it was vodka time! You used to eat something else regularly too, canned something? It was your evening meal before Compleats and coleslaw replaced it.

You seem to be a creature of habit, although, you do substitute a new habit for an old one now and then!

Peg, how's the new med going?

Cat, like Virginia, I'm going to encourage you to keep up with your exercises too, even though I've been completely delinquent in doing my own. Like Jeanie, I just feel really tired all the time. It's a cycle I think that needs to be worked out of. Agate, I really admire your discipline!

Ground Hog did not see his shadow here today, so that means no more winter. I was so disappointed.

Winter for me was ONE day of snow. It made the cats and I very angry, and....Sam, what are you carrying in your mouth, a dead groundhog? The frying pan is in the kitchen! SEVEN, dinner time!!!
