Happy New Year's, everyone! Hope 2017 will be a better year for all of us, but I won't hold my breath on that one!

Christmas didn't turn out as we hoped it would. Daughter decided that they wanted to stay at home again this year for Christmas, so we didn't get to have both our children, their spouses, and our two grandchildren all here together. We were more than a little disappointed. Our son, wife and sweet little Everett were here for three days, having come up from San Diego on the train. I was great having them here, Everett is an adorable little talking machine at 5+ months old. We enjoyed having them here, but wish the grands could meet one another.
Here is a picture of Everett on Christmas and a picture of Tula taken yesterday.

Such alert and happy little tads! Maybe Tula and Everett will have a chance to meet up soon. They're cousins, right?

Kids with cousins who aren't far apart in age seem to have built-in friends for life if they see each other in childhood.

    Cool Happy New Year!

:) Peg glad your sister is better. Cat glad your sore healed.

I stayed up and had the ball on TV but watched very little of it. When midnight came up I saw the 12 and 11 in the countdown but did not see the ball drop somehow. I am apprehensive going into the new year with Trump.

I worried about Lacy as all my neighbors were firing fireworks and guns and she shook all night. It finally quieted about 1:30 AM.

We are back in the 80's. We may not get any cold until March if then. Stay warm. Jeanie :)

Nuthatch, they are about the most bright eyed two little ones I have seen in a long time. I could take two like that anytime. Enjoyed the pictures so much. Tula is getting to be a real doll. Sorry they couldn't both be there at the same time this year, however I kind of do understand wanting to be in one's own home when the children are real young.

I didn't even try to see the ball. I listened to music. Tonight I got out one of my movies that I watch over every once in awhile. The name of it is "The Painted Veil". It was filmed in China, and I just love it. The only two other movies that I have bought are Ghost and Dr. Schivago (which is quite long so I don't watch it as often as I do the other two. Actually, I don't watch any of them very often.

After the movie I played Agate's game about 3 times and it is now getting late and time for me to get in bed.

    Cool

Nuthatch, GREAT pictures. That smiling face could be on baby products ads. SO cute!

I have witnessed a miracle today. I've been giving the cars my sliced turkey, and have been begging for it EVERYTIME I stand up. Today, I bought a new dry food. Came home and dumped the old bowl, and put in the new. When I left the kitchen, they were stuffing themselves with it. Peace, at last!

There may not be many docs like that around but it's good to know that there are some.

That's a miracle all right. I never saw a car beg!

    Cool

Oh sure, both my cars beg all the time.

Never heard of a car running on sliced turkey either but you never know with cars.
