Default World Down syndrome day 3/21

World Down syndrome day is 3/21 (3 copies of the 21st chromosome)
I think this s a beautiful clip seeing the life of a Down syndrome individual through their own eyes.

I think my favorite part is when she talks about singing dancing and laughing till she can't breath. This is Kathleen! Literally she does this till she can't catch her breath.

Please share in celebration of World Down syndrome Day...

This is beautiful! I think this could apply to any condition. I see myself as just me. However some of my disabled friends only seem to see themselves as their disability and it really breaks my heart to see that. A disability or medical condition does not make a person. I will share this on March 21. Thank you!

Thank you for sharing this wonderful video with us and for reminding us that March 21 is World Down Syndrome Day. I definitely see/hear Kathleen in this video. What an excellent way to erase stereotypes.

I will also share this among my friends.
