    Default Kathleen turn 19 today!

I can't believe it 19. What a journey its been so many emotions ups and downs. I can't believe how she's grown and overcome so much. She has made me a better person and has touche the hearts of more people than I could have imagined 19 years ago. She truly is my hero and always will be. I'm lucky to have been given this privilege to be her mom. Look how she's grown!

Happy 19th Birthday Kathleen! Wow! I had no idea she was already 19. Such beautiful, awesome pictures! 19 is a great age. It's funny, I had an old outdated school book that said many people only live one year after a stroke(not sure where the authors got that from even) but Kathleen totally proves that book wrong and also proves people with Down Syndrome are awesome and adorable!

thanks for all the birthday wishes. Kathleen had a great day for her birthday. Yesterday we had a great surprise birthday party. It was a "pajama party" so Kathleen wore her Minions pajamas. We had about 25 people (small this year LOL) and lots of food. Kathleen especially like seeing her baby cousins.WP_20160312_002.jpgWP_20160312_016.jpgWP_20160312_019.jpgWP_20160312_010.jpgWP_20160312_021.jpgWP_20160312_024.jpg
The family picture is her "adopted family" She was Kathleen's first grade teacher and we have been best friends with the family ever since. Kathleen calls them her second mom and dad and her sister. She adores them and I'm quite sure it's mutual! She even uses their last name sometimes she thinks it's hilarious. I don't think I'll have to cook all week we have lots of leftovers.

Such lovely touching pictures! Thank you for posting! I know a certain boy with autism who would be so jealous of the minion pajamas!

Thank you for sharing these wonderful moments celebrating Kathleen's birthday. Precious babies ~ and look at how they love Kathleen. Just adorable.

It fills my heart with joy to see the love in your family. And Kathleen's smile lights up the room.

No cooking for a week? Bonus!

    Cheers!

Great Pics! Happy 19th birthday Kathleen. Fun to see the progression from tiny baby to lovely young woman.
