Peg, you are sounding good. Let us know what happens on the 5th - how it goes and how you feel later.

Sally, so glad you are back. Howie and Gary have really been getting out of hand recently. Now Vicky will have some help with Howie. Suze maybe she will help out a little with Gary to.

Gary you and Cherie put the brakes on. It seems like both of you are about to get yourselves into trouble with all the projects you have lined up.

Suze, I am not sure I need a peddler anymore. Will explain that remark at a later date, but the short version is I got a new recliner chair yesterday and it is working me and my legs to death. Hope yours is still doing good for you.

Hi Renee, Ann, Jeanie, Nuthatch, Agate and any I might have missed. (I remembered you Howie, so don't start)

    Cool

But you forgot my cats, and they just adore you and reading your posts. Guess I'll spend the rest of the night trying to console and comfort the fuzzy little beasts.

Can't wait to hear about your recliner-exercise, Virginia! Sounds like a good way to get some muscles moving, trying to push out the chair. Show a pic of it if you can!

Howie, have you considered a little garden? With your decent weather, you may get many months of beans and tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, etc., at very low cost.

May mean you're not having just ice cream and tootsie rolls come month end. Neighbors love it too when you bring them fresh veggies, they like to reciprocate with cakes or other baked meals. Could expand your food repertoire and save you money with the quid pro quo with neighbors and ongoing veggie supply.

Lazarus would probably know more about this too. Didn't renee start a window garden?

Howie, sounds like a good idea Suze came up for you. I think Renee rented a little plot of land and that was where her garden was. Agate, I think has a window garden sometime. Linda's is bigger and more labor intensive as far as I can remember because she wants to sell at the farmer's market.

But I think Suze did come up with a good idea for you, assuming you can find some food you like that you can grow in a window garden.

Say goodnight to cats. Tell the fuzzy little beast to "GO TO BED".

Yes, Howie, you could grow me some pot and I could bake brownies
    for everyone!
My community garden spot came through again this year but it is so public
that mj is out of the question.

    What do you say, mister?
    Hey, we can grow CATNIP!!!!!

PS: the smoke alarm has stopped shrieking and the new cat is here and totally
digging a life of sloth and hedonism. I'll take a trip somewhere around Memorial Day.
Joey, my girl cat, will have very good care when I sojourn.

Hahaha, you are a riot, renee! Only you could have thought of that!

I think Gary might have some helpful gardening suggestions, he sure seems to know his way around a garden patch too.

Renee, I can't wait to hear your tales with your new gal pal Joey.

(Don't reply here everybody. There's an April thread started. Go there now.)
