    Thumbs up

    ((((((funnylegs4)))))) ~

Thank you for sharing this article. Sounds like a wonderful breakthrough, and I hope this therapy will be used on children with CP as the first option at the appropriate age.

I'd like to try it to increase my bone density as a post-menopausal woman! Where do I sign up?!

    Love & Light,

Mom to Jon, 48, (seizure disorder; Gtube; trache; colostomy; osteoporosis; hypothyroid; enlarged prostate; lymphedema, assorted mysteries) and Michael, 32, (intractable seizures; Gtube), who were born with an undiagnosed progressive neuromuscular disease and courageous spirits. Our Angel Michael received his wings in 2003 and now resides in Heaven. Our Angel Jon lives at home with me and Jim, the world's most wonderful dad.

You're welcome! I actually do something that is the same or almost the same as Whole Body Vibration therapy but we had our own name for it. LOL I hear ya.

What did (or do) you call your therapy? And how was/is it implemented?

Oh, and I'm not kidding about wanting to try it!

I think my therapy was based off something created in Japan and in native american culture. It's the same as Whole Body Vibration therapy except you teach your body how to "vibrate" on its own rather than using high tech equipment. I can't go too deeply into it for privacy reasons but I believe it is used in yoga, bodywork and martial arts type classes. Mine was adapted to the needs of somebody with spasticity. It has different names depending on the teachers/instructors preference. I don't blame you. Everybody I know wants to try it.

Rose, You asked what my therapy was. This is very close to what I did for my CP. See here http://www.meetup.com/Yoga-for-Traum...Exercises-TRE/
