It saddens me deeply that no one has responded to this post. This is a list of children we lost over the past 20 years, and it is incomplete, because so many of our former members drifted away from CN.

I remember Our Precious Angels vividly and their parents and families. Courage exemplified, strength, hope, faith, and love. Every illness, hospitalization, crisis, seizure, surgery, we were all united in support and love. And when one of Our Precious Angels received their wings, we mourned and wept together, and sent our heartfelt condolences and prayers.

Some days are better than others, and that might not be saying much, when you are grieving for your Precious Angel. You are always one moment away from a memory and one minute away from tears.

Never is that emotional dichotomy more prominent than during holidays.

So, the second Sunday of every December, Compassionate Friends encourages us to light a candle for all children, who left us too soon. For grieving parents, this is a ritual, which gives us comfort and strength to go forward through the holidays.

I will be lighting my candles soon, along with millions of others around the globe, many whose candles have been burning for several hours.

If the time has passed in your time zone, then please light a candle over the next few weeks in honor of Our Precious Angels.

Thank you so much, and God Bless You ~

      Love & Light,

      Rose

I lit a candle after I was done with work for these precious wonderful kids. So Sorry I did not have a chance to reply sooner.

Please do not apologize, my friend.

My sadness is derived from the loss of our membership here. I remember when CN was thriving with hundreds of posts every day. Although there were many here, no one was ever left behind or ignored. All posts were answered at least by one or two members. There were times when we easily had 5 pages of new posts in half of a day.

I have watched our forum dwindle with sadness for many years. I miss all of the friends I met here, and news about their children and families and how they are coping.

Mama Sue encouraged me to join CN, after I contacted her privately from reading her posts on CN about her sons Matthew and Bobby, who had an extremely rare neurological condition. I've lost touch with her and most of the other CN parents, as times have changed.

My prayers are with all of our families, who are grieving for their beloved Angels, that we will find comfort and be at peace with our grief. The journey seems interminably long, but we take one step, one minute at a time, to move forward. It's a marathon, not a sprint.

          Blessings upon all ~

          Love & Light,

          Rose
