Hi everyone,
Here's my son Nicholas' latest blog post; he blogs about his favourite sports and this post is about his recent meeting and interview with 'The Viper', Randy Orton, from the World Wrestling Entertainment. Check out the great photos!

while i am not into heavily inked wrestlers , i am into people having passionate interests and being able to share them with others.
i dislike being asked what i "do" for a living. it seems a lot of people equate your job, your salary, etc., with your worth to society. i have never worked for a salary since i was married, which is a detriment to me right now, being a separated woman at age 59, but i have donated thousands of hours of volunteer work to the private school where my children and other children attended. i think i have helped foster their dreams for their future. i hope my sharing and caring has made a difference to people on these forums. i currently share my knowledge of gardening with any child or adult who stops to ask me a question on what i am doing in my backyard or my front yard.
i congratulate nicholas for sharing his passion with everyone! i read this quote on facebook today and i think it apropos to this blog title: "The plain fact is that the planet does not need more "successful" people. But it does desperately need more peacemakers, healers, restorers, storytellers, and lovers of every shape and form. It needs people who live well in their places. It needs people of moral courage willing to join the fight to make the world habitable and humane. And these needs have little to do with success as our culture has defined it". David W. Orr
thank you for caring and sharing, jeannie
